4-H PROGRAMS

Hippology

4-H Hippology is a program that teaches youth about equine science and management through a combination of knowledge acquisition, skills development, and competition. It's essentially a contest that tests a participant's understanding of horses and horse-related topics.  Kids compete at county and state competitions.

VA State Championship Horse Show

The Virginia 4-H State Championship Horse Show is an annual event held at the Virginia Horse Center in Lexington, VA, where hundreds of 4-H members, aged 9-18, compete in various disciplines.
